one of the best commercials, next to Honda's Rube goldberg...

thought it was pretty kickass :headbang:

I forced myself to watch the whole thing, so I could make sure I was correct when I made fun of it.

  1. During the whole, “once upon a time” part, I couldn’t help but hope they would say what was true:
“Once upon a time, we were bombing the living shit out of the Japanese, and set them back far enough that we could build truely shitty automobiles and no one would know better.”

  2. During the, “Lets start today from day one” or what ever marketing BS spin slogan they were pushing, I couldn’t help but notice there was nothing about, “Lets crush these unions that are killing us”. Maybe it was implied that by starting over on “day one” they could come up with some better contracts.

Overall, gets about 1 out of 10, and that’s just because I happen to like the song Boys of Summer.

Seems like something you would see for a corporate motivation type thing. But it’s pretty cool nonetheless.

I’m going to have to agree.

Bad Choice of song, redundant, and hypoctritical = 3 out of 5
