i dont like open dumps… too annoying…
ive seen some guys take small mufflers and put them on open dumps to make them reasonable.

too make it clear, again, lol, im NOT worried about noise volume. i AM worried about annoying noises, ie, drone, buzzing, humming, etc. anything that’s going to give me a headache. sort of like last year when i’d drive around with the open downpipe. performance :tup:, not being able to fall asleep because my ears were ringing :tdown:

well remember that in order for it to create any noise you not only have to be in boost, you also need to be at max boost so that the wastegate is open. most daily driving will not cause that.
exactly, if your worried about droning and annoyances in exhaust sound dont look to the open gate. You can build a quiet exhaust that wont drone with a open gate. Once your at WOT you wont be able to hear anything though. I doubt your going to need WOT often in your car.
