aesthetically, i’d make it just like the top most picture, change the wheels and replace the stretched metal mesh with plastic. Other then that, i think it’s near perfect.

it’s just a thought that was recently put in my head.

i agree it looks like a hotwheel. yes it would turn heads, but i question its performance vs. cost vs. the way it looks.

Just on looks I like it more than the Rex, but I’d want to know exactly how the final product actually went down the road before I’d be interested. Top Gear or anyone like them ever test drive a K1? Making it look good is the easy part compared to making it drive like a decent modern car.

I suppose a Noble M400 is out of the trade range of the Rex huh?

I think the K1 Roadster is pretty sweet and looks like you can have way more fun with it at the track then the T-rex…

depends on how they handle/brake, but yea the 400 a month is a big deal and I like the car so I say go for it

It’s a hard choice. Personally, I like the car feel. The Body lines on this are really nice. You can always reshape the headlights and tails if that bugs you. As far as the doors i’m sure you could mod them to a regular hinge if you really wanted to. They look like they open like that just for show not because that is how they had to be mounted.

I say it would be cool to say you tried it even if you did not like it. Maybe ask the guy if you can do a swap for a week or two.
