Organic Food?

Yeah, I live off of Rt 88, so I was going to try and go to McGinnis (sp?) because I heard that all of their meat/produce is local so even if it is not certified organic, I am sure it would have less hormones than like Purdue chicken or one of the other large distributors. I was also considering buying our produce at Trax farms which is like 2 minutes from my house because it is all locally grown so is it safe to assume that the produce there is has less pesticides and stuff?

Most of Perdue’s chickens are grown by independent chicken farmers on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I have no idea what the deal is on the chicken feed, but I would not assume that chicken farmers in PA have less access to hormones than chicken farmers in MD.
