anyone have a copy? i dont feel like waiting for it to come in if i order it from apple and i need it so i can upgrade to mountain lion.

this. for once im looking for a legit copy.
just download the mountain lion dmg from apple, then download lion disk maker and put it on usb drive and boot from there. then you can install mountain lion from the usb fresh copy no need for snow leopard.
you can even put it on a DVD if you dont have a large enough thumb drive. thats what i did when i had to get a copy of Lion
that’ll only work if i had snow leopard already installed, which i dont.
on leopard theres no app store to download it from, and the disc maker needs snow leopard or later to run.
if your going to do that anyway why not just torrent snow leopard. your only using it to download a valid copy of the software your going to use. i think i may still have the apple snow leopard disk from when i upgraded my original macbook or i do have a usb currently with mountain lion on it. let me know if you want to use the usb or if you want the snow leopard if i find it.
