despite my usual perspective of anti-war and US authority the more i think of this whole situation the more awesome i think it is.
look at these pictures of random dudes that are suuuuper dead and who may or may not have been just yard hands or neighbourhood dudes…
the US just dropped a SEAL Team into a foreign country on the other side of the world and didnt give a fuck about the consequences… lost no lives and took many… brutally, and not only without remorse, but with a “FUCK YEAH!!!”

I’d love to see the training and requirements for this Navy seal team. They could probably kill someone 5 times before they would even blink…and that’s impossible.
From what I understand, it’s not something that you apply for. It’s something that you are selected for based on your reputation. It’s the real deal, the most elite special forces team probably in the entire world.
They must feel on top of the world right now, but I find it a little sad that they’ll never get the recognition they deserve based on the fact that it’s so secret that nobody really knows who the team is. First rule of Team Six, there is no Team Six.

the real unfortunate part is that as awesome as it is to be in those SEAL teams… you can’t lead a normal family life at the same time.
it’s a major social and family sacrifice… even if you come from a military family, but especially if you don’t.

Not that I like to compare movies to real life, but I sort of picture it similar to the situation in the movie Taken.
A Navy SEAL, especially one on Team Six, does not need the recognition. And it’s much safer for them and their families that we never know who did it.

As much as I am sure those guys are hardcore and badass, you have to imagine that they are going to have some sort of PTSD from that incident. Being in the military myself, I know that you don’t just run up in someones house, blow their brains out, kill their leader, remove his body and forget about it. Those guys have a tough job. Tough enough that they want to keep it to themselves the mess they make. That’s just my opinion on it though.

I think most of the people that get PTSD are the ones who see the dead civilians on the ground, or even worse been one of those trigger happy ground people who may have taken down a civilian.
Taking down the kingpins responsible for the death of THOUSANDS of people would be a no remorse move. I would do it gladly.
