Outdoor Patio - Soffit Ideas

Looking to dress up the ceiling of our outdoor patio with either vinyl soffit or some type of bead board. Problem we are running into is that our covered patio is 16X22 and only finding soffit in 12’ lengths.
I know we could use an H-channel half way down as a seem but was trying to avoid that and have one continuous run.

Any ideas other than vinyl soffit or anyone know of a manufacturer or local supplier that carries soffit longer than 12 feet? Checked with Alside, Lowes, HD and 84 Lumber so far.

Example of what we are looking for…

Create a “false” beam or coffered ceiling look to avoid a seam.

That is something we were looking at, but that one you linked is not pressure treated. Would applying a water sealant work for this? Plywood and moisture are not a good mix…
The other worry I have is seeing all the seams where the 4x8 panels meet.

They make siding is 16’ and 20’ yet no company makes soffit larger than 12’…ughhh

The plywood would be fine for a ceiling, it’s not like it see’s standing water.

What about a tongue and groove flooring type of deal?

yeah I wouldn’t worry about the bead board getting messed up.

That might be a good idea, will have to check out some tongue/groove applications.

ProgRocker - That is a pergola with open slats. My patio cover is already roofed, just finishing the underside…
