i love overtime at work. needy or greedy work overtime, im both. our work week goes friday to thursday-- get paid fridays. im allready at 45hrs and still got another day’s pay to go for this week.
usually work 46 hrs a week, but lately i been doing 53-55 plus my normal side work.
money ftw.

nice I picked up some OT today (our work week ends at 7am thursday) but I wish I didn’t and I wish I went to see my pap who is in the hospital on his last leg

nice…OT is fuckin beat for me…first off it is not offered all that much for me and second off i DO NOT get time and 1/2…just regular time…lameness
i’ll have 52 hours in this week. plus my side work-- which if you go by the book is another 28 hrs. biggest portion of the 28 hrs is 2 timing belt/water pump jobs that i can bang out fairly quickly in an evening and a engine r&r.
it is nice on side work, so backed up that im turning work away for once and can cherry pick what i want to work on. so im going for the money jobs and staying away from the basket cases that come in not running and you trouble shoot wtf the owner messed up that it dont run.
Uncle Sam will be very pleased with all of you…

I like the way my office works, we usually work most of our overtime from December - May when we have a lot of engagements to work on. I usually end up working 7:30 or 8:00am to 6:30 or 7:00pm and then I work part of the day saturday in the office. At the end of busy season, they add up all of our overtime and we have the choice between taking one big check for it or we can use those over time hours to get an additional two weeks of vacation. During the summer we usually just work 8:00 to 4 or 5 and don’t get too much overtime and we get another overtime check at the end of November, but it is usually pretty small since we don’t do much over 8hours a day during the summer.
