looks like sunfade, no way to get it out

ya see the second pic, its the clear coat, and its probably non existant

Holy hell was it seriously washed with a brillo pad? Most of the clear is probably scratched very deep. You would have to go at it with a rotary and a really aggressive pad/compound. Might as well try it if you can get someone to experiment on it…not like you can make it any worse :stuck_out_tongue: At the point where its fixed there might not be much clear left but I cant say for sure without seeing it in person.

If the clear coat is even existent, hard to tell through pics and not seeing it in person, It may be reparable. You will need a rotary and some really good cutting compound, like 3m heavy or maybe even super cut. Then you need to follow behind that with a random orbital with a medium-fine compound 2-3 times or untill there are almost no signs of marring anywhere on or around the damaged areas. I would then recommend just glazing it and letting the oils soak in. You can use meguiars #7. Apply it liberally, and wipe it off 2 times around the car continually turning and replacing your fancy microfiber towel. #7 never dries so the second trip around is to help keep it from looking white and powdery.

Edit: I did violate one rule of detailing in the above procedure and that is work up in cut. Dont start with a heavy cut. Start with the medium Ie. Meguiars DACP and progress up from there until there is visible reduction in the signs of damage. Once it looks like the damage is lessening DO NOT GO ANY HIGHER ON CUT. Just repeat the same product that achieved the initial results, and the progress downward once the majority of the damage is cleared.

Thanks Mike, its Ian from valet, Remember me ? probably not, lol anyway I’ll give the different cuts of compound a try, i suppose i really cant make it any worse, i really dont know what happened, Iam calling a SOS pad and a angry GF of a preavous owner, lol thanks guys
