Take a deck of cards and slip them between the rim and tire.
Go to CT and pick up Duplicolor Metalcast Anodized Blue
with/ Duplicolr Metalcast Anodized Primer and you are Set.
My friend did his Valve cover in Red looks like an SR.
I recommend buying a couple cans of aerosol stripper. Spray it on, rinse it off, and you’ll have a nice clean surface to paint on.
thanks… i wasnt sure i could use that stuff. or how easly it would chip… but if others have done it , i guess its ok… thanks
i used the same paint on my calipers on my old car and it chipped away over the winter…but a couple touchups here and there and it was all good…that was with about 2coats primer, 4coats anodized red…
