I think they reached that goal, i think more people can relate and enjoy a “old” performer instead of a new trendy performer

Now if they would mix SOME TYPE OF NEW performers (so people don’t start flying off the handle about rap :rolleyes: ) with vetrens so to speak thats usually enjoyable. Unfortunatly I don’t see that happening do to the jackson freak. I just see a trend about to happen with boring strait shooting crap which can be “guarenteed” safe for all audiences.
granted I missed some of it tonight since I’m at work and of couse we are busy, but from what I was able to see I didn’t care for. This is the big game of the year everyone wiats for, the half time show should match the intensity and hype. Even some of the comercials I have seen have been lame.

i’m reading complaints with no suggestions. paul rocked, that show was the first interesting halftime show i’ve ever seen. normally i just go take a shit during halftime.

I THANK THE LORD UP ABOVE …that they finally got some people who will sing the national anthem CORRECT!!! Doesn;t it sound so much better when sung correctly and some some pop diva’s rendition of what she thinks it should be? I View it as disrespectful to use the anthem and put ur twist on it, no one is above the masses so sing the song right!!!
as for comercials, watching a football game solely for the comercials is a sign of homosexuality. Its football and i don’t give a rats ass what they were tryin to sell me. That said, i did see them. Monkey comercials were great, the conv stang was awesome and the commercials with mc hammer were brilliant!
