In all seriousness, when you posted about going over to the beach a couple minutes later there was a traffic camera on CNN that showed 3 young males walking onto the deserted beach. Was that you?
I was by myself, so probably not. There were plenty of people near the beach, just not ON the beach. After the news was showing how little the waters were changing in Hilo on the Big Island, no one cared and people started walking back out.
I’m not doing a good job of it so far.

Hawaii is portrayed to be extremely drug infested on such shows as “Dog the Bounty Hunter”. In all honesty how are the people there? The islands are small, so are there still bad neighborhoods and good neighborhoods? or is everything sort of mixed together, like you always have to watch your back for some ice head looking to mug you?
