It’s certainly not as bad as it gets portrayed, but there are bad neighborhoods just like any other heavily populated area. When you go to the west part of the island it seems to get a lot worst. Lots of homeless people out that way. I feel perfectly safe here.

Def let me know. Unfortunately, since most of the island hopper airlines went out of business, it’s not as cheap as it used to be. The lowest you’ll see is $60 each way. Used to be $30 when I was here before. 
Honestly, I’m barely touching the sat. But it could be other things that are making it look that way. I think my screen is playing with me though. They look different on other computers.

Thats crazy. I was just booking my interisland flights for May and I thought they were cheap at like $80.
Happens a lot in the day of everyone and their uncle having LCDs. There are very few that are worth a damn. Not saying that is what it is necessarily, but it is very possible.

This next set is from an AMAZING hike I did the other day. Oddly enough, not very many people have even heard of it. The trail follows a stream into a really dense rainforest in the valley and runs into 3 separate waterfalls on the way. The smallest was probably 40 feet or so and you have climb up the side of them with ropes to keep going. So much fun. Only thing that sucks is that it was really cloudy and windy that day, so I had to do some pretty harsh editing on a few of them to get any detail out of things in the distance.

Looking up part of the third waterfall. This thing just kept fucking going. It was impossible to get the entire thing in one shot. Probably climbed for about 250 feet or so before we got to the top of it.

I must say that I keep finding more and more amazing things out about this island than I could have ever imagined. This place just keeps surprising me and I’m loving every god damn minute of it. It’s going to be very painful to have to leave here again.
