i never really looked at steel and airlines, do holidays have a big effect on airlines? and whats the probability that the bailout of gm will cause rise in steel?
Well those are simply a few I wanted to point out that have also fallen a large % wise but are not in near the trouble of GM so are better rebound plays. Airlines have got to be basking in the glory of low oil and it keeps going lower. Also I bet on consumer spending being priced in lower then we believe. I only like AKS because they have a great history and I think the stock is a great value. Although either of them can go quite lower as with any stock really. I like them long. But im crazy…Im also holding long financials and real estate at this point. I have been trading the market the last few months but its not really my style. I like to either hold long or short and sell when I feel it has gone where I want it.
i just started this whole stock market thing like 2 weeks ago after researching for about 2 months, my uncle got me started and im fucking hooked its insane how much i freak out if i lose or gain 200$ UGH im always looking at the screener even when the markets closed just to see if the stocks change the in middle of the night (i realize they dont) LOL
HAHAH i lose a couple K at a time sometimes and it dosent bother me. You will get used to it. especially if you have a good plan you believe in. If you hit early and have to suck up losses its not a big deal.
i have only 1500 invested in one stock that my uncle is part of, he did have 65k invested now hes down to like 15k from all the losses just in that one company, hes got control of my shares but i just opened up a tradeking account to play with small money and get used to doing things on my own
watching the bailout from the gov’t on gm, planning on purchasing a few of aks, not that i know a lot about them but im rollin the dice
SKF chillin in the low 180’s…I may pull the trigger short toward the end of the day today.
So, whos’ lost the most amount of “invested” money?
Just talked to a friend and his mutual fund that he’s built up dropeed from 6,000 to 2,100.
Isn’t it a bit late on SKF? Monday would have been good. I like SKF under 140, prob. won’t buy in again until in the 130s or lower. Probably will still move, and if it goes down, just hold… Currently $155+
i meant on the short side, may be a little early but it’s not going to sustain its price at 200.
Forgive my inability to read :duh:
Wow, SKF really had to fight to get through 180.
If I was looking for an entry long on SKF I’d be waiting for a retrace down to the S/R at 180, paired with strong price action for confluence. It’s barely touched 200 twice before, I’m sure that would be the next area of resistance if someone did risk going long, and I’d be watching price there, possibly even taking 1/2 off or taking full profit.
I still think short at 180 is a good decision though, for reasons I previously stated
google down under 300.00 a share first time since 2005, get it while its hot hahahaha

Still in the green by 27% on it actually, far cry from 200%, but I’m strongly considering averaging down. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the company.
I’m going to pick up some, same with a few other positions that I know are strong, and just rolling with the market right now.
