since no one has said it I will MSF course…and to take ur permit test all u need is a valid driver’s license…its uber easy basically the same as normal permit with like to motorcycle questions
cyclist referring to a bicycle? pretty sure they don’t need insurance
lol im assuming the same
oh thats gay.
what a stupid question
jay is right. i talked to a friend who is a dispatcher. there are a lot more bikes out due to gas prices. most of them are unlicensed. they are doing lots of checks. don’t ride the thing by yourself if you don’t have one.
admittedly, i bought my bike to have fun. in most cases, you’re not really saving money on gas by spending a bunch of money on a bike and gear. it’s actually cheaper to drive my car than it is my bike. i get about the same milage and i can run 87 in my jetta and i run 93 on the bike.
i rode a few times by myself when i had my permit. it wasn’t fun. on top of all the other bullshit you have to worry about, you have to worry about being pulled over. it wasn’t even fun. it was easier to just drive my car. especially with all the license checks going on right now. i wouldn’t even get on the thing anymore without evil jay following me. now that i have it, it’s a great time. hell, i dont’ even talk to him anymore because i have my license and don’t need him.
its true.
and msf really isn’t worth it imho.
Just get with someone who knows how to ride and take the test.
I have to disagree. Even veteran riders learn from that course. It is absolutely worth it. I wish it were required in NY state. Maybe we wouldn’t lose so many riders to inexperience…
even some idiot is going to die riding with the course.
Although I see what you’re getting at.
I have an insurance question. If I am insured with my car under my parents, can I be on my friends insurance policy for a bike while I am riding it when he is out of townor do I need to be on my own? Do I even need to be covered since he already has it on his bike? He just has liability. he paid cash for his bike so he has no coverage on the bike itself.
