the people who said worse stuff know the owner so they get special privilages. you can harrass a female, pick apart any thread and post bs if you know one of the original 5-6.

there are some great people on here but there are some douchebags too. i guess thats life tho everywhere you go theres all walks of people. this fourm just happens to house alot of fucked up people and they give them privilages.

i like cars/trucks/motorcycles/quads and dirtbikes. thats why i signed up. i wanted to meet locals to race, share tools, share knowledge, and cruise. but my views on some things throw people off. all the mods are friends of the other so they support each other on the net. i have been in a garage my whole life. i know my way around anything from a tdi to a harley to a saab. i am well rounded. i fix my things and bring them to a pro if i cant.

most people here always has to have a dick measuring contest. if i post + vochander will post - everytime. and vice versa.

my posts get deleted, my account gets hacked… whats next? i bet something else fucked up. but who knows.

if you know me in person you know i am a good guy. we might not be able to agree %100 on everything but i can agree to disagree like most here cant. if you question the religious people you get the same stubborn responses you get on here.

just remember a used car salesman or a guy who thinks he can beat anyone up will get karma in the end. i do positive things all day and i have no regrets. there are alot of drug addict people on here and people who hit their family. i will not say names tho. dont do it in front of me.

respect gets respect in most cases. but online people will jump the gun because they are protected by the wood frame and dry wall house with a cable wire. lmao

but good luck to the good guys of shift and hopefully you prosper. and to the bad men hopefully you burn and feel some bad things soon. i like when the good guys win.

hopefully some of you guys remember what i posted if its not deleted. also if you see me in person say hi if your a cool person. dont approach me with disrespect. you guys know disrespecting people is not good right? so treat me as good as the rest and i will scratch your back too.

keep fighting for your rights and dont let any negitive person tread on you. people die for your rights dont just give them up.

I think it’s a tough call with a lot of mods that I’ve see in the past on this site as to what may be the final line that gets crossed, and it’s really not easy when some of us know the mods/admin/other members personally vs. people who might not at all (or as well) and don’t have that knowledge about them. Some of us just know which buttons to push with who, and what to leave alone with others. Exactly what happened on this forum today is a great example of that.

It’s hard to gauge what someone’s true intention or tone is through text, and that goes for both parties involved here. Getting the entire forum’s input on a quoted post or a PM isn’t going to solve anything, but then this wouldn’t be Shift518 - and what fun would that be?

And that’s all I have to say… about that.

for fucks sake, I don’t give two shits who does or doesn’t know it’s me when I issue an infraction or ban someone. You’ve either done/said something deserving of it, or pissed me off enough to deserve it(and those that know me know the latter is VERY difficult to do). I don’t need to, nor have any reason, to hide behind some guise of another username when slapping someones wrist on the forum. Any mod who feels the requirement to do such really doesn’t need to be a mod. Do you fire someone from a job by tossing a note on their desk and then hide in the closet until they pack up and leave…

And FWIW I didnt go out of my way to write that message to him. It’s part of the infraction. Lil window at the bottom of the screen. Pick the infraction, type a little message, clicksenddone. I did it because people like him should think/choose their words wisely in situations like that. There’s a fine line between speaking your mind and just being outright respectful. Less is better in those instances. May have sounded fine to him or others but think about how the person on the receiving end might take it given the type of situation and emotion they may have before you post it.

You don’t walk up to a fat chick and ask her when the due date is…you’ll likely end up getting kicked in the balls and will deserve it hands down given the case.

I get what you’re saying, the first part was a question to KK because I wasn’t sure of the point he was getting at about it being under your name vs. a “generic” mod account.

But exactly what you said about knowing that you’re not someone to easily fly off the handle is the point I’m trying to make… We’ve had mods go on tirades here before, for personal vendettas or otherwise, and this isn’t that. I just didn’t want it to seem that way.

The rules don’t matter anymore, Vlad just decides if you’re breaking them or not on the spot and bans you. It’s a lot less friendly of a place.
