What a great game and an awesome night to be in pittsburgh. The energy in that stadium was absolutely incredible. Can’t wait to watch the replay of it. Polamolu’s interception was just awesome.

I was very surprised that we handled the Ravens so well on Sunday. The ability to beat a team for a third time in a season, especially in the manor we did, is impressive. My personal belief is that it was the experience of our veterans versus the relatively wet behind the ears ravens offense. The turnovers were a telling stat of the game. I think its apparent that our defense played incredible as usual. The offense still does not impress me but I was never a fan of Roethlisberger’s style of play. I’m sure that lends itself to my opinion.
The interesting thing about this Superbowl match up, to me, is that my best friend has been a Cardinals fan for as long as I can remember. One of my favorite players, Sean Morey, also plays for the Cardinals. Throughout the season I tend to pay a little extra attention to them so I have a basis of conversation with my friend. I watched every televised game Arizona played this season.
I think Arizona is a fairly good team with an offense that should not be taken lightly. I know that our defense is certainly capable of containing what they do. Philadelphia, as well as the rest of the NFC playoff teams the Cardinals faced, had numerous occasions where they made mistakes in coverage causing big plays. Arizona is great at capitalizing on a short field or mistakes when they have the opportunity to do so.
I have concerns with our offense. I worry that a turnover or two by our offense can be disastrous if Arizona can capitalize. It has been their recipe for success against every other opponent and our downfall as an offense. A ball hawking defense and a quick strike offense might be the undoing of the Steelers.
That all being said, if the Steeler’s offense can play a mostly mistake free game, I do not think Arizona stands an ice cube’s chance in hell. It would be exciting to be the first franchise to get a ring for the other hand.:steelers::steelers::steelers::steelers:

How so? this has happend 19 times in the superbowl era. and now 12 times the team that won the first 2 games has won the 3rd. It has nothing to do with watching the mass media, its my personal opinion. I do not really like statistic like that because I think they are irrelevant. The game of football has come so far since the inception on the NFL.
This year the Steelers pulled off a field goal win, then followed that up with a blown call win so when they came out sunday and dominated I found that impressive.
