Photo Inspection?

My insurance company told me I have 5 days to get my car a photo inspection. Apparently I just have to find a shop that does it. It takes 5 minutes, free, and they handle all the paper work. I just need my policy number.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction of a shop that can do this in the Amherst, Tonawanda, North Tonawanda area?

mobil on nfb and e robinson rd in amherst does it

Is it called a “Photo Inspection”?

It is a “Photo Inspection” tons of shops do it. just call your insurance company or go on their website and find the nearest location to you. It is standard practice these days.

Geico sent me to Schmitts on Sheridan for both my cars. Call your insurance company and ask them who to take it to.

i swear to god sometimes the car enthusiasts on this forum are worse than women

You can go to almost any dealerships collision center and have this done.

lol

:word: Haven’t you ever insured a car before?

It’s standard practice. It can be done anywhere. Hell I had it done at Dr Huggs Carwash last time. You have to have the form from the insurance company too I think.

i thought the insurance company did it ??

They can, but often it’s more convenient to have your corner store do it for you.

Its only for full coverage, so maybe its his first nice car. My insurance company told me places i could get the photo inspection done at. I have Geico.

No. I got my first car when I was 17 and it was in my dads name. He got it all taken care of. Now I am on my own loan, policy, and registration I am new to this and all Geico told me was “You have days to get a photo inspection”

OH everytime we have a car with full cov … they just walk out and take the pic…

well now you have nice things

I am just amazed Don Davis didn’t do it if its so simple.

OIC. Yep, standard procedure. Should take 5 minutes, unless you go to the Monroe on Delaware and have to spend 5 minutes trying to explain to the tech that your truck has a 6 speed manual transmission.

“What type of transmission?”
“Six speed manual.”
“So it’s an automatic?”
“No, it’s a stick.”
“Like a standard, you mean like it has a clutch pedal?”
“Yes.”
“Oh. So what is it, a 4 speed?”
“Six.”
“You mean like 1-2-3-4-5, and reverse right?”
“No 6 forward gears and a reverse gear.”
“So it’s a seven speed?”
“Die.”
