Went on my yearly trip to Fish Creek… up in the Adirondacks… tent camping right on the lakes.
Weather was great, super fresh air, never dissapoints. I will have more pictures soon but I have these for now. Taken with my old camera, 6MP Nikon D50
so the first morning there, I wake up, and unzip my tent and see this:

So i see a bird in the distance fly up to a tree… I didn’t know what it was, i was sooo far away, had to fully zoom in at 300mm to take a pic… i then zoom in again on my camera’s LCD to see it and realized it was a bald eagle. pic was taken a but hastily but it was my first time seeing one so i was excited

Saw this loon… now there was a male and female loon out there… and another male loon was lurking… so this one decided to do its’ territorial dance, kinda bouncing on the water and flapping his wings… was cool to see… here is one shot of that:
