photoshoot w/ SnowboardinWNY

Took these all in about half an hour. I think they came out pretty good! LMK what you think…be it good or bad! I’m always open to feedback!

Presenting to you for the first time…AIDZ couch:

I can see the future of this thread already. Nice pictures

I only see one thing wrong with those pics. someone parked an escort in front of every one of them.

lol, kidding aside…that car is in need of a detail bad. (i can hook you up on that). The swirls in the paint are ruining every picture. lots of sunlight + swirly paint = bad pics.

edit: lose those west herr plate frames too. tacky.

double edit: you need a better camera. though that wont remove the escort from the pics.

yeah, unfortunetly I was in B.lo right at noon…had no choice as far as that goes. as for the escort bashing…were used to it.

I wonder if people thought it was funny that you were taking artsy pics of an escort.

haha rag on my car all you want :wiggle:

Awesome pics tho Kyle, as I said before.

I plan on getting the whole car redone, stripped gown dents and dings pulled and such and than repainted same color. I don’t plan on doing this till I have a place to store the car at night/winter.

so much hatin on the 'scort, to each his own. at least its not riced out, but with some blacked out windows i think it would look a little better.

Why bother? Just get the dents/dings pulled and have the paint buffed out.

Paint doesn’t match the lip kit as well as I want it to. It’s really close but it doesn’t match. I also have a small amount of rust right below the gas cap where the fender and bumper meet. That won’t match after it gets fixed.

I like the SIR sticker.

all escort jokes aside…

please step away from the contrast and saturation sliders, it’s hurtin my brain

Not bad, I think the lip kit makes the Escort look better.

Chick not found…

I like the locations…that one under the concrete bridge supports is a good location.

Where is this location? My grandma is interested in taking pics of her '96 Grand Am.

LOL

I read somewhere on here the “thirds concept” or taking a picture in thirds. Basically the car should take up no more than a 3rd of the background of the photo. Sometimes it really enhances the car in the shoot.

These 2 shots, IMO, look the best mainly because of this “thirds” thing:

I am by NO means a photographer or any kind of expert. But, I tried to keep this in mind on that last group of pictures I took of my car not long ago (http://www.nyspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74338) and I definitely like it.

I will say that I think that escort is tastefully done. I would ditch that front plate mount.

Needs more

X2 Couldn’t say it better myself. Edit the colors individually, dont just yank on the saturation slider until it looks interesting. Only Micah Weber is allowed to do that

Im going to just say nice pictures & leave it at that.
