you will deff not get above 20mpg…i work with a guy that has the same truck pretty much but with a 6 speed man and he gets 18 average and thats mostly highwy…they weigh a shit load ! but 18 is good for a truck like that …thats what my old 4.3 s-10 got lol oh and by they way a chip that increase fuel consumption for added power will prolly lower the milage …just a thought…very nice though!! put some d’s on the bitc…

be careful on the tranny, my co-worker went through 3 of them before he axed it for a hemi model. granted his truck was pushing 45 psi…but still, its the weak link.

my buddy gets around 15mpg… not sure where everyone gets over 20 from :bloated:

I know of a handful who get more than 20… and 2 handfuls that can’t break 15.

Oh, and I guarantee that the variance in fuel economy is all from the driving style. People complain about the gas mileage of MR2s on the mr2 boards all the time, but I stya out of boost, and accelerate like a grams most the time and see MUCH better economy than my 25mpg average DSM.

All depends on how you drive personally.

Some people are crazy… you should be happy with 15, my vtek weedwacker only gets 16 or so during the summer when im beating on it…

I filled up today… I averaged 17.1 mpg…mostley around town driving…and a little bit of that was getting on it.

psh I love this truck…even rides better than the toyota…and its a 3/4 ton…can’t wait to put an intake on this to hear that turbo wistle.

banks power pda tuner (300ft/lbs to the rear wheels increase)

last time i came i came in contact with a cummings deisel i had to cover the intake tube with a text book to make it stop running. hawt truck.
