Picked up a 99 1.8T 5spd Avant for the wifey today..

Was sick of spending 400/mo on gas in the suburban. We picked this up for $4400 today from a local guy (second owner). Anyone want to buy a 99 suburban? :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway, the car has a few issues. Needs an abs module (common issue apparently), a drivers fender, and a good cleaning etc.

I just got it down to my buddys shop tonight. Holy crap does quattro pwn the snow!

Im hoping to get the abs module sent out this week and with any luck get the remote start and keyless and maybee tint on too.

Nice avant man. You can send the ABS module to these guys http://modulemaster.com/audiabsbsrepair.html and they’ll rebuild it for $200.

Also, audiworld.com is your friend.

Great car. I always use BBA-Reman for ABS controllers. Quick turnaround, and very reasonable. And for what it’s worth, the easiest way to get to the controller is by taking the left inner fender liner off, and the washer bottle out.

Nice car.

I miss mine, it was a snowmobile with a set of snows.
