My instructor gave me some pointers coming out of the corkscrew into the back staight leading to the bus stop. He told me to shift it into 4th sooner as I didn’t need to wring out power like I was in a high reving 4cyclinder. When I did that I gained about 15-20mphs down the back straight. The bus stop though, I was a little girl going through that, it seems MUCH smaller when you are going through it at speed. How did the Supra do with regards to power coming on when you needed it? Is it more of a top end car or does it do pretty well down low?
Last time out I was running brand new Hawk HP+ pads and Motul 5.1 brake fluid… lost brake pedal completely after the first couple laps (it’s a good thing I let off way early going into turn 1!) Anyway once I got the pads “broken in” the brakes held up for the rest of the session, well at least until my FMS blew. And the time before that I was on stock brakes and lost my pedal completely after a cooldown lap. Seems like coolings ducts are a must as I’m pretty sure that brake fluid is dot5 you were using. (Correction, it’s dot4 but the boiling point is at least what the motul 5.1 is)
