Not exactly sure what they use this building for, but it’s a very nice / new facility.

My EVO hungry for some track time :hsdance:

And because you guys always ask, my camera body is a Nikon D50!

Hope you like!

Why does that drag strip have so many curves in it?

Yeah BeaveRun is a nice little track! The flat out days however, are NOT 8 hours of track time. You have classroom time in the morning and then you have five (5) twenty minute sessions, with an instructor if you are in levels 1 or 2. And you also get a lunch break…So a little more than an hour and a half seat time on the track. BUT the flat out days are a great experience! They also have some low key auto cross sessions for $30.

The building you posted pictures, as you can see, has many garages that you can rent out at flat out days if you want. Also there is a banquet room upstairs, the classroom, bathrooms. Down stairs there are also bathrooms.

Ive been to a few of the low key autocross events and they are a good time with a lot of runs.

I think they are adding some more dates, if so, I am going to come out to a couple when it’s not quite so hot!

Hmm interesting. Wonder why I was told 8 hours?

Still sounds like fun, and I am still gonna do it one of these days!

Have you ever done it, jinxxycat?

Definitely not 8 hours. They have split the day in to 2 run sessions now. Shit 120 minutes of run time = 600 x 12 sec. passes on the drag strip LOL

is there any national big events or is it just amateur stuff? can you go just to watch?

Sure! Plus NESBA streetbikes run there.

And a really cool thing called Super Car Life runs there aswell.

Or you could run yourself…or go watch anytime. But there is usually a spectator fee for events like $5

Habib would be the correct person to answer that question. I know they do have some big races up there.

im not worried about the fee. it would be fun to do for a weekend. i live less than an hour away from it so it would be pretty fun to see some nice cars hit the track. drag tracks get a lil boring

yea i agree. we should get a bunch of guys together to go watch one of the bigger events

Chris Carlisle aka habib88 is always posting about events. he is a great auto crosser but not as great as a promoter lol…

You know both you guys could have came right out and called me a parking lot whore, I won’t have cared :embarassd

First off don’t start comparing beaverun to drag tracks, thats amateur. Racing is racing, most people can understand the difference. That said, seriously bring your Evo out. For autox locally we have like 2-3 Evo’s that show up pretty much all the time, they would all be willing to help you out. Lapping days is a step up in speed and danger, but still loads of fun. Beaver holds events for both amateurs and professionals, best advice I could give would be to just look at their calender. I would recommend watching a SCCA club racing at beaver, you’ll see some fast drivers and cars show up from all over the place.

Honestly if you wanna get your feet wet without damaging metal, go here first and goto one of the days (Jinxxycat just go, or I’ll make Chris force you haha).

Also long as I’m promoting, we are gonna hold another time trail on the Wilson Kart Circuit at beaverun on September 2nd! I’ll post more details soon.

Here’s the schedule…

The next Flat Out day is 8/24. I’ll be there.
