From the looks of it it already has an LS6 intake manifold on it :banana. 400whp NA should be pretty easy with a decent cam, ported LS1 or LS6 heads, and long tubes. If the heads are stock they’ll have a 241 casting number which you can see on the top front of the passenger side head, if it says 243 they’re LS6/LS2 heads and they aren’t stock.

Does it have the Auburn rear end?

BTW: the factory hp ratings on these cars (especially the 01’/02’)are BS. Most healthy 01/02 LS1s put down >300whp stock, the SLP cars put down a few more ponies on average.

FYI, a good head / cam package tuned with proper upgrades (pushrods, timing gear etc) will top the $3,000 mark if you even entertain Cartek… and you sill need exhaust. Best bet is to hit LS1tech.com and buy used parts…get a decent head/cam package for $1,000 and thats a simple tune for the locals. Best bang for buck from where your at no is headers/exhaust then a cam… but personally…a cam is alot of work…can be done in several hours… but…hell, just get a bottle and headers and budget for bottle fills!

a 228/228 .58x of .59x lift on a 110 makes nice chop, good power and great for future bottle. Too much lift and you"ll need to fly cut so don’t get overly agressive. These cars like a quick ramping cam lobe though.

Get a skip shift eliminator and remember to kill traction control everytime you start the car… what fun is traction!

yah…not looking for anything brand new…might just go with headers, Y pipe and a dyno tune on some spray and call it a day…car runs very impressive how it is right now.
