Seriously though, the track-ready NX2000 was a deal I could not pass up. I will still continue a build on the SE-R as well. Not that I want or need two cars.

umm yea sure

Looks good…

As long as you can serve hot dogs out of it, I don’t care how many cars you have!

But seriously, you plan on running one of these cars next season, right? As much as I love the burgers, I feel bad that you aren’t racing at all.

buying a built car is SOOOOOOO much cheaper.

X2

I gotta figure out how to bring the grill with a trailer. I drove like five times last year with my XE and thanks to Josh’s co-drives. Definately not as much as I wanted to. Sure I’ll auto-x it, but I will opt to wear out my tires at other venues whenever possible.

This is one of those “yeah, but” things. There is no way I could have built a car as cheap, but I still need the same things as I would for my SE-R to be a front runner (as this is a mid-pack car). I am not planning on any wins my first year anyways so in either case the cheaper the seat time the better.

It sure is… I should have listened and bought Ciufo’s fully prepped CSP Miata when I had the chance…

Very nice. Which car did they go on? You have so many I tend to lose track.

How come so stiff up front on the swaybar? No tendency to understeer initially?

Nice…my progress springs arrived today …they said they wouldnt do coilovers for my car :frowning:

So it looks as if you’ve gone the “soft spring stiff swaybar” route, as opposed to the “stiff spring small swaybar”, which is the way most Miata guys go. Admittedly, I don’t know what is typical for your car.

need a tow rig? buy my van $1500

These are for the SE-R. I bought everything last August, before NX2000 was in the picture.

Yes I am going with the soft spring, stiff bar approach.

The front bar is big, but I believe turn in will be improved. I will run it at the lowest setting and should get good rotation with the rear bar a full stiff. For the 2003 STS SE-R I ran middle middle for both bars and got really good lif oversteer.

The typical set-up is 550f/500r with a range from there. This is the exact rates my NX2000 came with. The NX2000 has an aftermarket rear bar and stock front. So, really I can play around and see what is what.

The guy I bought it from said 500f/400r would be something to try.

Progress has also came out with a larger rear bar this year.

Some other things to keep in mind is that B13 have shitty suspension geometry. The front goes positive camber under squat as does the rear. Civics, on the other hand, you can dump 5" and still have the suspension work for you.

Well see, it’s a learning experience, I’ve got a couple settings to play with and compare.

No, but if I didn’t have my '98 Dodge high top conversion van (w/ TV, DVD, and fold down bed). I would be all over it. A tow vehicle you can sleep in > *.
