seans mouth is getting old.
thick masking tape is ur friend, sir. I use it to cover mouldings and rubber bits when i was or polish
He does have a point
Use painters tape, it works wonders.
:rofl
Well obviously.
My car’s white though, I’m sure a proper treatment would bring out the ballericity, but honestly I’ve used spray-on-while-the-car’s-still-wet-and-dry wax and it looked just as good as this crazy wax the local detailing shop put on it when i first bought the car and had it detailed.
Not saying it’s actually as good, it’s obviously garbage, but I can’t justify spending 12+ hours on my paint when I DD the car, and know it’s going to get dirty and break down within a day or two anyway
Not entirely true, a good wax would keep the finish protected for some time. But I used to remember detailing my other cars, then driving them and getting them dirty, then being pissed off. But it happens. You just need to keep up with it. I’d drive my Supra more if I wasn’t concerned about the garbage weather we have. Not to mention it’s really not “Quiet” anymore.
get a fartcan silencer :rofl :rofl :rofl
let the exhaust tickets commence
Yea, Vette guys dont get exhaust tickets, trucks dont get exhaust tickets. Harleys dont get exhaust tickets, Just ricer cars like mine.
I’ve actually had nothing but good experiences from police so far. Been really cool.
not being a dick goes a long way. I’ve never had any issues either
i got 2 with the evoh but lots of issues with it. neighbors called the cops on me 4x!!! just went to court tue actually.
MAybe if you didn’t leave it idling at 5am for an hour they wouldn’t of had a problem.
gotta warm that shit up.
Letting your car idle to warm up is one of the leading causes of premature wear/engine failure.
Just saying.
Benny, do you want me to let you know when i’ll be detailing mine, we can try to do a piece of ur hood or something to see if u like the stuff i use? we can tape off half ur hood and test out the stuff. Thats what I did with detaield image. i went over there and George just ran a peice of tape across my hood and showed me how to do half, then took the tape off. I came back in a few days to pick up some stuff
Here’s a question for you detailfags:
Rusty bolt run-off onto white paint.
How to remove?
Wet sand it
Really? That’s the only way?
Isn’t that like, going to fuck up my paint?
I’m sure you can get some very light abrasive polish and get it off
You can try buffing it out or wet sand and buff it if necessary
