eclipse > pioneer > alpine
the only reason alpine does well is because they used to be good (in the 80s and 90s) and people like how they “look”

wat
For the most part, I’ve only ever used Alpine in my cars. They always sounded good to me (or better than 90’s era Ford stereo’s atleast).
Either way, you’ll probably be happier than you were
edit: god damn fggt noob
I feel like I’ve been rick rolled.
I dont know why you guys are saying Eclipse is good…they had the worst skip of any CD player on the market from what I remember.
I have always had a lot of luck with my Pioneer stuff…however…I think the 453 dollars you need to buy the rest of the motor would be much more beneficial to the car then a fucking radio…unless you plan on sitting in your driveway listening to tunes soaking the rays while everyone else is actually able to use their car as a mode of transportation.
EDIT…FUCK
i love my pioneer
and lol rickroll
OOOOOOO…we all get a :picard: on this one
EDIT _ AHHHHH!
not me
lol.
i have an ALPINE… nothing real exotic, but i always liked it. the design is nice and it works great, but pioneer makes some with more interesting displays
this is the one i have…like i said, nothing real fancy:
Alpine 7909 are the best ever made
Pioneer ODR
Sony CDX-C90
well no one stole my pioneer, and my alpine got stolen twice, either pioneer sucks or alpine is easy to steal =p
they both sounded great and did the same things =)
I have 2 pioneers,1 is about 15 years old and the other is a 6400 model. They both work great and sound great.I like that you can custom select the bass, treble and mids exactly how you want them to sound. The alpines i dont think have that feature.
hook my god damn AM up
have an Eclipse deck in my truck and Alpine deck in my subaru. I like the Alpine because it is simple to use, good for a daily. I like the eclipse because it sounds good and has more features.
A friend of mine swears by Pioneer. He has been into car audio(the quality kind, components, parts and sound) for a long time and says that Pioneer is one of the best. I have an alpine myself which is perfect for me. His Pioneer which I think is equal price etc. has significantly more real tunable features as opposed to just increasing bass and treble type settings.
I really like my alpine but would definitely get the comparable Pioneer deck if mine died
Sony CDXC90 with XDP4000X
Kenwood makes amazing head units, so does Pioneer and Eclipse.
Eclipse is probably the best for the audiophile as they have the most advanced features for fine tuning your audio experience.
Kenwood and Pioneer also have great tuning abilities but not quite on par with eclipse.
Kenwood is especially nice if you buy their amps as you can fine tune the amps directly from the head unit as well.
Most of the head units i’ve personally owned though are pioneers. Never had any issues with them and i like the features they come with.
