piston slap

um well i guess there was a problem with GM piston slap on the 5.3’s and 8100’s but here is a guy fighting back.

they all got it on newere engines!!!:rolleyes:

havent seen the car in a year, so i guess so. :eek:

the little ticking just lets you know that the motor is actually running, since
the newer LS series motors are so quiet.
it could be worse it could sound like a ford…

its also common on the 5.7 too, especially on very cold mornings
