I’m 100 percent sure that I could get his car to run better, make more power etc with a carb then with some chips/mail order/however you tune a 20 year old Mustang ecu.
If it were mine and I had the money, I’d but a basic standalone on it, FAST, etc, or a carb.
A simple trip to DEZ and $250 or so later and the thing will be making great power, and will have no issues. But yes, carbs are the easy way to go…if youre into that kinda thing lol.

I actually drove it tonight and its got alot more power than it used to.
It still needs a little bit of minor work like readjusting the lifters (tick) but it runs great.
Ive got a feeling the rear tires wont last very long now- it likes to spin them.
Im not taking it to LG this weekend because its got less than 20 street miles on it and the lifter tick.
im happy for ya pjb i really am .see ya stuck wit it and it runs .now het it tuned so we can race when mine is done

Gotta break it in a bit first although I did wind it out a few times. With the 4.10’s it winds out the gears quick.
It likes to cruise around at about 4k in second with this motor and cam. The powerband for the cam is 2600-6200.
