There’s plenty of knowledge around about ethanol/water mixtures in gasoline going in 2 cycle engines and fucking them over.
So does anyone know of a gas station around (Or chain of them) that does not add Ethanol to their gas?
I’d rather not dump stabil in my gas can every time I fill it up.
Lmao I always saw that place on the way to the girlfriends when I used to go down transit… I was always like, who in the fuck would buy gas at a place named hi quality?
I think Kwik Fill’s doesn’t.When I raced at lancaster everyone would buy the 93 from the one on broadway in lancaster, google supports the theory as well but im still not 100%.
So I’ll take their advice… :
Not like it’s that much extra work or anything.
Especially if there’s gas stations locally that sell it. (Hi quality isn’t that local for me, but kwik fill is!)
So with older injectors like the ones in my Z, ethanol in gasoline will eventually ruin them. I’ll eventually update my injectors to a newer style that can handle “ethanol contamination” but for now I’m just looking for places that do NOT use ethanol.
Like this:
Anyone know of any stations that don’t use Ethanol?
More parts on their way from Japan as we speak
… But I’m hoping to not have to buy the never style injectors right away because then I need the fuel rails to go with them, and I might as well do a few other things while I’m in there… and you know where that lead$…
Kwik Fill is 93 octane, & NO ethanol. There is a station @ Eggert & Colvin(down the street from Mighty) another on Delaware, north of 290, & Delaware, between Kenmore & Hertel. The stores also have a map of all their location’s.
Great thread. Toward the end of the season I’m going to start filling the boat up at these. I’ve always been concerned about storing it over the winter with an ethanol blend even when using stabil.
