Here’s an interesting one.
Went to a club here in Waterloo.
Drinks were something like $6-7. We were a group of 8. 2 of us at a time would order 2 drinks. So something like $14 right? We gave a $20 and left with 2 drinks no change every time. Figured the tips were QUITE large and would get good fast service and lil extra booze. NOPE!
It got us KICKED OUT of the club. Bouncers excuse? “You guys were UNDER TIPPING, you HAVE TO LEAVE”. WTF? Our GROUP got kicked out for under tipping. One of my buddies had his words and ended up getting grabbed by the throat and escorted out. Pretty dumb one. Not wild just, dumb.
