Reason why Porsche 944’s are better track cars than R8’s because about when I saw that wall approaching I would have been thinking of all the cool GT Racing fiberglass I’d soon be ordering rather than flipping shit.

My guess is he got bent on the fact that he was reeling in that viper, realized too late that he was way out of line, and you can see him lift at :14…and it’s all over from there…surprised how easily it came out though…

He was early on both apexes AND lifted. Second early apex pointed him towards the dirt so he lifted to turn back to the right. Tail lifts over a hill and WEEEEE!!!

Once your off in the grass at VIR there is nothing you can do to regain control. They all slope down into a tire wall. The used to all slope down into TREES! Keep the tires locked and pray.

according to the fellows at top gear it takes quite a bit of effort to get the AWD piggy to come out.
