Plugging holes left from spoiler... looking for temporary solutions

Last night I decided to remove the spoiler from the GTO (love the clean look it has now). Just to keep bugs and whatnot out of it, for the time being, I just threw some tape over them but obviously it wont hold up to rain and all that good shit.

There are 3 holes (2 being on the passengers side) that I need to plug. The 2 smaller ones I’ll just use interior push pins with some sort of gasket. But the 3rd hole is larger and oval that was used to for the wiring for the 3rd brake light. Any ideas of what I can use to plug this up? It doesnt have to look great by any means… long as it will keep moisture out. it’s probably about a 2in X 1in ellipse.

also, where can you get modeling foam? I’m looking to construct a ducktail that will eventually bolt up to the stock spoiler location.

thanks

IfI can get ahold of a friend of mine…he’s got a GTO withOUT the spoiler and its got some kind of “button” plugs in it. Looks professional for what it is.

Ill BRB

car looks 1000X better without it IMO

My head hurts. So you made an asthetic mod to your car (removing the spoiler), but don’t care about how that mod looks (some ghetto hole plugging).

Give me your keys before you fuck this car up anymore.

Home Depot/Lowes/Ace Hardware:

4 x 3/8" cap plugs
1 x 3/4" cap plug

Paint with black touch-up, sealed in place with a thin bead of silicone caulk.

I did this before I had my spoiler holes permanently filled.

RKSport already makes one, though it’s pricey and it’s a 3-piece.

Dominant Motorsports (aka Arrowhead Performance) also makes one.

Revenge designs is coming out with a package, but it’s being sold via Lingenfelter, IIRC.

Oh, and I might have those caps lying around somewhere… though I may have thrown them out.

Alot of these are posted on LS1GTO.com

RKSport’s is similar to the HSV spoiler.

I really like the one on the black car. And the rims.

EDIT:
After looking at some more pictures of the DMS spoiler on their site I’m less impressed.

Here’s one of Autoform’s prototype spoiler:

And JHP’s lip spoiler, though this will NOT use the stock holes:

Hey Stevil!

Heres what he typed me…

Yo!
I got the ‘Spoiler Delete’ kit from a vendor on LS2GTO.com called Top Shelf Performance.
