Been a while since I’ve played casino tourneys, but this looks like a good time to jump back in the pool.

The skill level at SNC has really gone up in last few years. I think it has to do with a decrease in the amount fish due to the fad of NLH dying down. That along with an influx of good Canadian players coming over to take advantage of the exchange.
Ive really gotten back into poker the past few months (trying to start a league actually) but I’m really struggling to bring home any money from Casino cash games. Hopefully these tourneys will be different.
I’m considering those two days also. Although, I wonder what the crowds are going to be like during the weeknight games. Most likely jump straight to the L2 quals, in hopes that most of the BS luck players get weeded out in the sats.
So, came down with my first cold in a couple of years last Thursday. Finally kicked it Tuesday.
Went last night.
Played a $40 satellite. Did well. Chip leader at the end. Top 4 players advance to the $150 qualifier. Top 2 players in the qualifier get a ticket into the $1100 main event. Got knocked out in 4th. Not horrible considering I haven’t played at a casino in about 10-11 years.
this kid that I went to high school with won 37k this past weekend there.
