Get your facts straight people.

:bowrofl: :bowrofl: :bowrofl:

thats classic.

Aall this for 4 simple words…Send Them All Back!

I don’t smoke. I don’t like it. But, I think it should be legal. Thats just my opinion. One fact thought… Giving the government more money isn’t the fix to any problems. Advocating legalization because of increased taxation revanues is rediculess. More money to missmanage is not a good idea. The cure isn’t flooding the gov with so much money that is has to do something right. Its about time for a third party.

I agree about a third party, but more money for the govt in ways other than straight taxation is a good thing. The tax revenue could go straight into the social security coffers or something.

fix first, Mo money second.

more money = easier to fix

at the rate we’re going into debt, money is DESPARATELY needed.

more money = no motovation to fix

DESPARATELY need fix

Marijuana should be legal.

Our federal and state government both waste MILLIONS of dollars every year attempting to investigate, charge, and prosecute people for distributing and using a substance which has been scientifically proven time and time again to be far less harmful than many of the “legal” substances available at stores in any town in America.

Legalizing and taxing this substance would not only eliminate the money being wasted, it would generate NEW revenue in the form of tax dollars…revenue which our federal government could definitely use right now.

…and the above argument doesn’t even begin to address my view that it is a person’s fundamental right to choose what he or she does to his or her body, and that the government has no business protecting me from myself.

druga are bad mmmmmmmmmk

Right but the government does have a right to protect their citzens reguardless of what you want to do to yourself.

Right but the government does have a right to protect their citzens reguardless of what you want to do to yourself

I agree for the most part- but I believe our government, because it is supposedly by nature responsible to us, not for us, has a duty to protect citizens from other citizens. The government should not concern itself with what a person chooses to do to his or her self, as long as it doesn’t harm other citizens.

For example, driving while intoxicated with marijuana should remain illegal as it endangers other citizens. However, smoking it in one’s own home harms no one but the smoker.

I wonder what second hand marijuana smoke does to you? We should get a $60K grant and perform some studies on this.
