The nice thing about the UZ vs the 2jz is tons of torque. Ungodly amounts and lots more power before the turbo spools.

SRS, that dude Cowboy Bebop was supposed to run top end with some redneck in an IROC.

Supra was 3.4 with a big fucking turbo.

Camaro was a 572 Merlin with like an 800 shot, it was a low 8 second ride.
