Actually its VERY rare to hear about a grenaded bottom end in any lsx motor. A spun crank bearing or connecting rod bearings are one thing, but still to this day a stock Crank hasnt been broken…they even use stock cranks in 1500hp builds. Most the time the pistons shatter before anything in the bottom end lets go…pistons are the weak link here.

and my car was broken when I bought it. Not my fault. Previous owner apparently bounced it off the revv limiter one too many times lighting up the tires.
