Woulda, but would have cost me way more per month. Verizon ftw.

Do you guys not like seeing deer on the road ahead of you? My Jeep liberty, the Jetta, the Saab 93 and my brothers A4 all have drop in Pilot kits. The jeep was lifted 5 inches with 32’s and I nevery really got flashed. Same with the jetta, its lowered and I rarely get flashed. Both are reflector pos housings. I aim them down though to not be a total dick like you say. But the HID 6500’s work SOO much better than any halogen. Even with them aimed down they go farther down the road and wider to the sides, the light just projects farther. And reflective signs, and road stripes straight pop out at you and thats safer too. I will never drive a car without HID (except for my dumpy dd’s i dont care about)

The Saab, and the A4 have OEM projectors. The cutoff is razor sharp and the HIDs project much farther down the road without any housing adjustments.

And if you are being blinded by ANY car going by, dont stare at them like fucking deer… it wont matter that they have for lights.

drop in HIDs= fail

exactly yours FUCKING suck

So much hostility toward PnP in HIDs. I’ve been using them in 2 of my cars for over 2 years now without any issues, people flashing me, or complaining to me. Though some cars are more annoying than others…

I keep seeing you guys with the “gearhead jointz” comment. I don’t understand the sarcasm. We sell a full line of HID Kits, replacement bulbs, and upgraded projector headlamps for all cars on the road. If you guys feel the need, stop in and pick up a set of projector headlamps for the offenders. I’d be more than happy to help you out!

What do you mean J? You mean I can’t reasonably expect to walk in, buy the absolute cheapest stuff on your shelf, and expect it to turn my car into a new C class??? WTF man.

:facepalm

Er, um, Of course you can lolol. Speaking of c-class warren just rented one and said it was sweet.

ok, its not sarcasm. i kinda started the so to speak " trend"

but gearhead joints mean all and EVERY SINGLE drop in hid’s/ blue/purple/yellow. they are gearhead joints, idk why i call em that, its just catchy and helping out your drop-in hid busness.

You can aim them wherever you want really, but the light is still scattered all over the road and it annoys the shit out of me and I’m sure a lot of other drivers out there as well. Jeep, VW, Saab and other automakers engineer their headlamps so that you can see where you are going. If they were worried about their customers not being able to see I am sure they would have at least a factory option for brighter headlamps.

As for myself, I have light sensitivity at night time and therefore have medical window tint on my car so that when morons with their drop in hids are behind me I can still drive without being bothered.

pay more attention in science class next time and learn how a light beam is projected when it hits a reflective surface. You’re insane if you think by “aiming” the light down using the factory adjustment screws takes care of 100% of the scatter issue…

Shit if anything drive with your factory halogen highbeams on at all times and just aim the beam down a little… :lol

If you want that HID look or just plain want to see the road better, then BUY projector beam headlamps. Or, if you don’t like how those look, do what I did and take your factory headlights and put projectors inside of them. But for the love of god don’t halfass it and just head on over to gearhead or any other retailer and slap some brighter bulbs in your car.
