wat is a DRL killer?

Damn with all the money going into LEDs and HIDs you could of bought a turbz!

daytime running lights, probably just an over priced resistor a company sells that jumps the harness.

I’m guessing $50 for a resistor and about 6" of wire.

so it just turns them off? i thought maybe it did something cool. might as well just take the bulbs out! sounds like a waste of money!

Somebody correct me if I am wrong… but it basically disables the DRL’s to allow better voltage for the HID’s to prevent premature burnout and allows to use the low beams and high beams at the same time…

not really … I am getting a great price on them… helps to be friends with the supplier…

i can run lows highs and fogs at the same time as well as my drl’s! and it only cost my $1.08!!!

or you can just pull the drl fuse which is used solely for the drl’s. :lol

except by doing that they are no longer usable… and in the SS that is also your front turn signal and run at night… the DRL killer is only to prevent them from running during the day… not when needed in other situations…

In my car there is a fuse that powers the DRL’s. You pull it and the DRL’s no longer illuminate.

Simple process but I am not sure about your platform.

Or you could not be a ricer and just stick with OEM lighting

Trailtech X-bars(black)

Different setup Chris…

and not ricer have the tinted heads so OEM don’t allow enough light also OEM just look dumpy…

oem is great

OEM is best.

mine suck… always have.
