Ummm, what’s so humble about your opinions? hahahah.
Data aquasition? Are you for real here? You really think that having ridiculously detailed data on what your car is doing will make you faster? Do you even know what to do with that Data? Just how advanced is your suspension? Coilovers, adjustable off the market bars won’t really benefit from having full race data aqauasition.
So say you were to go to Scott at Can-Alignment to have your suspension redone according to what you tell him you are feeling. You then hit the track with your new setup, look at your new data, decide that you know better than him, would you REDO your suspension yourself? Do you not think that you just may be OVERBUILDING and OVERTHINKING this? It isn’t rocket science man.
Get your car setup right once with all your parts…get it done, DRIVE the damn thing. 99% of the time after a car is done, all the shortfalls of the car remain with the driver.
I’m just sayin…I’d be willing to bet $1000.00 that after a good setup, if you were to get data aquasition, you wouldn’t be able to shave any significant times off your lap. Especially with a KA.
Why are you so stubborn that you won’t do a swap? You’re obviously willing to spend GOOD MONEY on your car. Is it so that you can always blame the fact that it’s a KA? Doesn’t make sense man.
You can buy an RB for 1300. The labour is a G. Do it up man. Have some real fun.
Data Aquasition is for fully built serious race cars. Your suspension is more than capable of handling te accel speeds and top speeds of your KA. Lots of Ontario Pro race cars don’t even have that. They use experience and car feel. There are lots of ways to see where your car needs work. Looking at tires is a pretty damn good one. Bigger is not always better man.
