Did you use single stage paint with integrated clear?
I used base/clear. I still have to wetsand and buff it. I’ll post up more pics after I get that done. The surface right now is orange peely and has a few specs of dust. But whatever it cost me a total of about $300 in paint supplies. The colour is BMW lemans blue.

finally got my car back together and on the road after stripping it down to nothing to sandblast and paint the front end with chassis saver (same as POR15). looks pretty goofy with 4 lug on the front and 5 lug on the back… just need caliper rebuild kits for the Z brakes, then i can put my 5 lug on.

It looks like you have the wrong tire size on the back, did you keep the 350Z tires?
i think it only looks that way because the back rim is an 18 and the front is a 15 or w/e
Base AND clear? Or a single stage base with integrated clearcoat?
Where’d you pick up the supplies? Cmacks?
Use 2000 grit when you wet sand it, if you’ve got orange peel, the 2000 will even everything out.
