My 1990 4WD Chevy had the Pap Pap Package when I bought it several years ago. It took me about an hour & a half to make it cool again. Mine was aluminum cap & aluminum running boards, though. Also ‘back off’ mud flaps

Sounds perfect.

Had a Stardek concrete coating put in the garage. This was the compromise that came out of the unsatisfactory concrete pouring that was done a while back. I’ll have the drywall up soon now that this is all settled.

that’s interesting how federal puts that cannelure half way down the case. i wonder what the purpose of that is?

i leave mine loaded with 125gr rem golden sabers. in my opinion there isn’t a better self defense cartidge/bullet weight

That looks good. Since my wall was rebuilt in my garage I’d like to coat the floor now.

the TA moved???

Yes, a good 30 ft. And it wasn’t pushed!

what did you “pull” it with then?

“Hard-kicking revolvers, for example, require crimping to prevent the bullets from being pulled out of the case under recoil. In extreme cases this may result in the bullets actually protruding out the front of the cylinder, locking it up and effectively rendering the gun useless.”

I got my LTCF today. Just need a holster now.

What gun do you own?

x2 But the Garage looks a whole lot better

taurus 66 stainless 6" barrel with a molded blackhawk hoslter. i wanna put a new grip on it soon

also here’s a tidbit of info

besides the reason you stated the crimp on the bullet is also used to allow a large volume of slower burning ball powder to more fully burn before the bullet is propelled down the bore. without a heavy crimp some powders may not fully burn before the bullet leaves the barrel. a heavy crimp coupled with a magnum primer and you’ll have very little waste. i use H110 and a max load will be compressed under the bullet. that’s a lot of powder that doesn’t have a lot of space to burn

x2 But the garage does look better

Didn’t you just get done saying that .357 mag is worthless and will cause one to go blind and deaf?

I’m a big fan of Taurus handguns… Love my 24/7 and also have a .44 Raging Bull.

Taurus is like a moped… It’s cool to you, but don’t let anyone know or see it…

In other words. It’s poop.

x2 But the garage looks a lot better

Totally disagree. Tarurus will shot with the best of them. And I will let anyone see any of my Tarurus collection. I think I own 6 of them now. Never a problem with any of them. And my semi’s have seen more action in one evening than a lot of guns see in a lifetime.

Taurus makes excellent revolvers. Taurus basically bought a bunch of S&W machinery and uses it to tool their revolvers- they’re the same thing as S&W revolvers. I’ve NEVER had or seen an issue with a Taurus wheel gun.

I’m not a big fan of Taurus semis- seen lots of issues.

Wheel guns are better for 90% of people anyway, and you really can’t go wrong with a S&W, Ruger, or Taurus wheelgun.
