lol

Was getting tired of being called a truck… haha.

Its not so bad on the 6 speed cars because they sound fantastic running through the gears, but the auto shifting up into 4th by 30mph just sounds yuck with a loud exhaust.

The magnaflow is pretty tame at idle and cruising and still screams at WOT.

All the more reason for an M6 swap.

“awww shit…look at the motherfuckin wheels” O-Dogg

Keepin’ it real clean on the G-Body tip. Looking good.

Is the rear bigger or just smaller profile tire?

probably a wider rear is what it looks like there for having a smaller profile atleast thats my guess looks good bob

a bunch of shit to make bobble struts

i saved $40

17 x 8 Cragar SS 3.5 backspacing and 245/45/17 on all four. the rear of the car is higher so it may just be an optical illusion thing. everyone and their mom does TT II’s on these cars… I always wanted cragar SS’s so i got them in 17’s cause no one rocks them in 17’s. i would have liked to gone with the aluminum versions but they were a lil to expensive for me. these ones are heavy as shit. like 40lbs

Holy shit that’s heavy…that has to be with rubber on them, otherwise that’d be almost 60-62lbs with tires? Rotating weight FTL…but at least you have torque to turn them…I do not.

I am guessing that is just the Wheels if they are steel. Aluminum cragers are about 25-32 lbs I believe.

yeah thats just the wheel. tired ass 305 isn;t cutting it, lol

Were you in South Side last night? Saw a red SS with black not Bullitt wheels. Sounded real nice.

Why do pople insist on calling Torque Thrusts (and sometimes Cragars) “Bullitt” wheels. Fucking Ford just copied American Racing’s design. They’ve been around for decades, but Ford puts 'em on a Shitstain and now they’re “Bullitt wheels.” :squint:

you do have a point there… that has always kinda pissed me off as well.

Core aerator. And concrete blocks. Fun times… fun times. Actually it was kind of amusing since it was new.

Because saying “Bullitt’s” is a lot easier than saying “Hey Russ, what Make and Model are your black wheels? Cragar’s? Torq Thrusts, or Ford Knock Offs?”

Also the fact that they are black with a polished wheel, they more closely resemble a Bullitt wheel than a typical Torq Thrust wheel.

And yes, I am aware that they have been around for a lot longer than 01 with the Bullit. My dad’s 70 Coronet had “Bullitts” on it when he owned it in 81.

if ur are car guy and you dont know the difference between TT II’s and TT D’s and bullitts…well are you really a car guy?
