Yeah, yeah I did. Picking it up Tuesday.

You just won’t learn will you??? Lol good luck.

Haha, thanks.

haha, your freaking nuts! Does look clean tho.

What? Is this some sort of suprise to you? Haha

its got NY plates…thats a curse waiting 2 happen…i had a 97 ws6 trans am shipped to me from a dealer in New York and as soon as it started up shit started breaking…luckily the dealer gave me my money back.i had to eat 1k in shipping fees though.Iv heard other horror stories about cars from NY.We beat on our cars here they kill there cars there.becareful.

Well, that picture is from the owner before the guy I bought it from.

The original owner was an investigator for the NTSB, owned it until 2001, lived in VA up until that point. He sold it to a guy in NY, it was there from 2001 to 2006 when the 2nd owner sold it to his brother-in-law back in VA. The 3rd owner sold it to the guy in Whitehall who I’m getting it from, so it was in VA from '84-'01, and '06-'08, and in Pittsburgh since October. So it’s primarily a VA car, wasn’t in NY it’s whole life.

If it makes any difference. Haha

Haha, True. Let me know when you pick it up and got some free time, I definately want to check it out.

I’m picking it up Tuesday and I’ll be home for spring break Friday. :eek3:

Nice Zack! :bigthumb:

lol it might.well good luck with this 1.hopefully u have much better luck

Haven’t had much trouble with the BMW’s, the other one I have was just neglected for years and needed more work than I have time for. Audis on the other hand…

Thanks man.

Thanks. Off to a better start with this one over the other BMW I have… Inspected, everything works, totally road-ready.

Picked it up last Sunday for $200. No Front Clip or Tranny. Bought it for a parts car for my other 2 Firechickens. We tore it down within 10 hours. Only things left I still need are Windshield and Drivers Strut Tower Plate. Taking Rearend out at JY once Jarvis picks it up for scrap. Body was straight and looked solid, but after pulling up the carpet and the driver side floor basically coming up with it Im glad I only bought it for parts.

Doors, Windshield, Interior Plastics, Carpet, H.O. 305 Engine, Wiring Harness & ECM all going into my Purple 85’.

Fiberglass Notchback Hatch, Rear Interior Plastics, Rear Crash Bar, Black Dash, & Strut Tower Plate all going into my Blue 86’ Project Car.

Never saw a hatch like that before. Pretty cool.

They only made 600 or so factory Notchback Hatches, almost any you would see nowadays are aftermarket remakes. I have yet to find out if this is a factory one. It used to have glass, but someone has replaced it with plexiglass. I will probably replace the plexiglass seeing as they didnt cut it exactly right. Its going on the 86’, because its fiberglass and weighs about 30 pounds less than my glass hatch.
