And you should know me well enough to know that theres a line, and im seldom on the wrong side of it. I suppose with the connotations of the thread that quote could be taken in a way not intended. Im telling you friend to friend that it wasnt meant in the way you are taking it. Ill take it down. I didnt realize you were getting so mad about people “mocking” your religion. I tried to state very clearly that I was only questioning the historical accuracy of the Bible. And given the manner in which history was recorded in those days (there was no internet, tv, radio, typewriters, paper and pencils even. As i understand it, large portions of the Bible were actually written be people that lived long enough after the events that they never were even able to talk with anyone that witnessed the events first hand. This certainly could lead to a distortion/exadgeration of a certain event. Especially after being passed down from generation to generation. I think that is a valid and non-inflamatory remark. I would take no personal offense to you questioning scientific idealology, and preferring the religious explanation of a certain event over the scientific one. :dunno:
ok man it is forgoten…lets go back to talking about blowing shit up…
ohh jake I remember you saying he WASN’T a contractor back on about page 6 or so. he was infact a contractor there to repair communications towers to get phone and TV service back on.
very true. That almost makes it sadder, but i honestly dont know if that situation CAN be any sadder. Poor prick was just over there to try and help rebuild their war torn country for them. People like that should be shown no mercy.
Yup and if I was President Bush Chaney, Rumsfeld and most of the pentagon would be out the door. People say he isn’t a good president but it the people under him that are deceptive in my opinion
