Most of New York? I just checked the map and a huge part of New York is yellowed out. WTF?
Edit: I guess yellow is for small outages but they seem to be all over.

No calls on my phone… must not be too bad. I don’t sleep when the power’s out.
Nope this was due to a “cut” on a cable that runs up Niagara St. I believe. Our campus (my work) is currently down and has been since 1AM. Power went out around 10PM last night but came back on an hour later. \
If this is the same outage at least it was trouble on a main line and they had to lock out sections.
Hmm my step dad works for NYSEG I’ll ask him what’s going on. He’s home so it has to be something stupid.
