DAMNIT!
I was supposed to be up at 9:45, less than 10 minutes ago I wake up and I feel good.
So immediatly I grab my phone because theres no way its before 9:45
And sure enough its friggin 11:35.
So I’m like WTF why didny my alarm go off, I check the clock and every clock in the house is flashing.
When? where? and why the hell did the power go out?
last night at the mall the lights were flickering for a while
where r u located karter?
:wtf:so if your running late how do you have the time to make useless threads on here???
Or don’t bother to set the alarm on your phone, that you used a clock first thing in the morning anyway
Anytime I know I have to be up and theres a chance I may oversleep I set the alarm on my cell phone just incase power goes out, and the battery backup on my alarm clock dies as well.
Of course I wake up at 7:10 every morning which is 5 mins before my alarm goes off anyways.
Shitty, hopefully you’re employer understands.
my cell phone is my alarm clock.
my alarm clock is also battery powered, so if the power goes out the clock stays on
NEXT TIME PAY THE ELECTRIC BILL ON TIME
lol it wouldnt have been on to post if that was the case.
im in lewiston it happened around 8am i guess./ i was late to go look at a car that was a shitbox, so i didnt buy it
the likely cause of the lights flickering…
There was a 2200lb chunk of concrete threating to fall on the 345kV lines which would have caused an North East Outage similar to the one in 2002.
the lines were taken out of service for 11hrs on Saturday.
cool pics, josh.
x2 , never a doubt that way

My cel is my 3rd and last-call alarm clock and my girl has 2 cel-phones and no real alarm clock. I think you need to follow suit.

very nice pics! Where are those 345kv potheads at? If that was all energized im pretty sure those guys working in the jlg lifts were getting the snot knocked out of them from all the static in there… You dont really have to be THAT close…
