hi im just wondering if a power steering pump from a ka24de would fit into a sr20det 240sx
both models are 1989 hatchs, and atm my car has no power steering, do i need a sr20 power steering pump or could i use a ka pump just get a bracket that fits?
you need one specific to the sr20. the brackets are specific too. make sure you are looking for a pump that is for hicas or non-hicas too.
there are ways to make it work but try and find a sr20 one
Depower the rack and get rid of the pump, you’ll save a bunch of weight, and get exercise while driving. Right now you’re trying to shove all the fluid around if you try to steer it, it gets substantially easier once you get rid of fluid/lines/seals.
im not sure how simalar a pump from a 1990 s13 silvia ca18det is but i have my old one if your looking.
