i buttoned up a few items on the list this weekend.

-added baffles to the headers
-removed the drivers side allen wrench door pins and found some brass pins
-replaced the front mount for the pass side olds valve cover
-got the fuel gauge working
-dialed in the carb
-repaired a vacuum leak
-removed the painted feet

things i still need to do include:

register the damn thing with DMV tomorrow
have a snap tonneau cover made
hook up the water temp gauge
figure out why the tach is reading backwards
hook up the speedo
bend the shifter for a bit more room
cut a piece of alum or stainless to sit behind the gauge panel to clean up the gaps
add hinges to the deck lid

no, Gardena. I’m renting a house with a 2 car garage. Check my insta pics

Very cool man, I look forward to see what you do with it.

Looks awesome man! I always wondered how fast these are just because it seems like such a lightweight vehicle with a big engine. How’s it feel accelerating compared to well anything else I suppose.

When you setup tachs off a LS they usually need to be configured for 4 cylinder mode might be your issue.

its strange cause it will work ok for the first minute or two when i start the car then it climbs all the way up to 8k and reads backwards…

also its been a god damn monsoon here all week. finally had a break on sat so naturally i was in the roadster all day…

right but where are the open wheel burnouts
